These 100% cotton potholders bring both fun and function into your kitchen. Each potholder is woven using a basketweave pattern, that pair two tones of yarn, with a loop for easy hanging. The result is a modern take on a traditional kitchen helper that can be used as a trivet or potholder.
Each potholder has been lovingly handwoven on our rigid-heddle loom, using 100% USA-grown cotton. The potholder is pre-washed and pre-shrunk and ready to get to work!
Each potholder is sold separately. One potholder is charcoal and white on both sides, with a waffle-weave texture on one side. The other is charcoal, white, and yellow on one side, and partially charcoal and white, partially charcoal, white, and yellow on the other. Please note there is a ridge along one edge, where the two edges have been sewn together.
Basket Weave Potholder - Charcoal
We wove each potholder in our home studio in East Tennessee using a rigid heddle loom. A rigid heddle loom is a traditional-style, table-top handloom. After weaving, we wash and dry each item, to pre-shrink them and prepare them for their future home!
