What it is:

A dreamy wrap in rich golden tones that contrast with a soft gray fibers in the warp. A single golden column along one side adds a modern color-block effect, bringing out the rich hues of the yellows and golds.

Why we like it:

We love the soft, almost-mohair like feel of the gray warp threads and the subtly-shifting tones of the rich golden threads.

Who else might like it:

The cotton/acrylic blend is perfect for anyone with a wool-sensitivity. The wrap is soft, yet durable, and perfect for wearing indoors and out.

Goldenrod Wrap

  • We wove this scarf in our home studio in East Tennessee using a rigid heddle loom. A rigid heddle loom is a traditional-style, table-top handloom.

After weaving, we hand sew the edges with a hemstitch to prevent raveling.

Finally, all scarves go through a process called wet-finishing. We soak the scarves in a gentle, eco-friendly rinse and let them air dry. This creates a stronger bond between the individual fibers by causing them to bloom and become tightly interlocked.
