Knitting 102: Itching for Another Stitch

In Knitting 102, we'll build upon the basics of Knitting 101 by learning how to bind off and another classic technique: purling! By the end of the class, students will be able to make their own sampler scarf!

TEACHER: Susan H. Susan brings over 50 years of knitting experience!

WHAT'S INCLUDED: Class fee covers instruction and 1 ball of worsted weight yarn.

WHAT TO BRING: If students completed Knitting 101, they should bring all their materials back, including yarn and needles. 

If students did not complete Knitting 101 at Walther Handmade, they will need to bring a pair of Size 8 (5.0 mm) single-pointed knitting needles - available at the store. They may also wish to purchase an additional skein of yarn to complete a project.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Students should know how to cast on and garter stitch.

REGISTRATION: Registration is required. Class size is limited to 6   participants. This class is geared towards adult participants; students should be at least 16 years old.

CANCELLATION/REFUND: If you register and realize you will not be able to make it, please contact us as soon as possible, so we may open your   spot to another interested crafter.

• If students cancel more than 24 hours in advance, then they will receive a complete refund.
• If   students cancel less than 24 hours in advance, or are a "no show,"  then  no refunds will be given, and all materials will be forfeited.
• We reserve the right to cancel the class due to low registration. In this scenario, we would refund all student fees.
