About the event

Celebrate Socktober at Walther Handmade by learning to knit your first pair of socks! Join us on October 21 and November 4, 11, and 18 as we work our way through the Rye Socks Pattern by Tin Can Knits. Over these 4 2-hour sessions, you'll learn everything you need to know to start knitting socks for your whole family!

The Rye Socks were designed specifically for beginning knitters. Using worsted weight yarn and simple stitches, this pattern shows you how to make a sock section by section, starting with the cuff.  You'll learn lots of new skills that you can continue to use to make more socks and carry with you your whole knitting-life!
