About the event

Combining history, culture, international traditions, and stunning photography - I often like to think of PieceWork as the crafter's National Geographic. Every issue is chock full of knitting crochet, sewing, embroidery, lacework - anything that is made by hand! Plus, every issue goes beyond the project - sharing the traditions and lifestyles of needleworkers, past and present. Even if one does not participate in a particular craft, there is always something to learn or a project to work on.

Click here to get your copy of PieceWork from Walther Handmade. Choose "Local Pickup," and we'll have it waiting for you!

How to Participate:

  1. Pick up the most recent issue of Piecework Magazine - preferably from us! Walther Handmade carries this magazine - you buy it in-store or  online .
  2. Read through the issue, mark pages, make notes, highlight what you found interesting, and anything you would like to discuss!
  3. Make sure to RSVP to the meeting, so we know how many people to expect!
  4. Sign in online May 2 at 11 AM and enjoy exchanging ideas and opinions with fellow fiber friends!
  5. At each meeting, we'll choose a project from the current issue to work on at home. The next time the Club meets, bring in your finished project to show off!

This is an *online* discussion group! Have your webcams ready!
