About the event
Celebrate the first weekend of the Great Tennessee Yarn Tour at Walther Handmade!
We're opening special hours on Sunday, August 4 for 2 very special guests!
Indigo Guinea Fiber is an indie-dyer based in Indiana. She'll be bringing her yarn-truck full of small batch, hand-dyed yarns to our shop on Sunday, August 4! She'll be parked on Trenton Street from 10AM - 3PM. Come get your hands on this luscious yarn and show Lindsey some Southern Hospitality! We are so excited to be hosting her and providing our Tourists with access to her beautiful and unique yarns!
Inside the shop, we'll be hosting our friend and local artisan T & L Homestead and Crafts (aka: Leah). Leah has been crocheting a storm this year, stitching up everything from brightly-colored doilies to adorable chickens to hats made from upcycled saris. Her eye for color, design, and attention to detail is evident in every stitch. You won't want to miss her one-of-a-kind creations!
We'll also have refreshments to help you beat the heat! So make plan to spend your Sunday afternoon in Downtown Harriman!
