The Alpaca Yarn Company is a small woman-owned business based in Pennsylvania.  Their small staff  designs all the yarns they sell as well as hand-dye many of them in their small facility.  The owner has owned alpacas for nearly 2 decades and can be found at her farm when she’s not at work at the warehouse.

The Alpaca Yarn Company lives and breathes Alpaca - alpacas are a part of their everyday life. They are also lifelong knitters, so they bring extensive knowledge and discerning eye to their yarns. They say, "If we aren’t thrilled to knit, crochet or weave with these yarns, we know you won’t be either so we only bring the best to the table."
